Poetry

Cabell wrote a number of poems during his college years, and later used acrostic poems as dedications in his books. He published a book of poetry, From the Hidden Way, and even embedded verse into his prose, as in his books Jurgen: A Comedy of Justice and Figures of Earth. A brief introduction to Cabell’s verse may be found in response to a letter from 10 March 2013, on The Silver Stallion website, created by John Thorne and Bill Lloyd.
